Feature Navigation
The toolbar you see at the top of the page is active. Clicking on the feature will tell you more about that feature
by bringing you down to the appropriate section. So relax and let’s take a look.
This is the main menu for the toolbar. If you click on the logo it will take you to GODbar home page. But if you click on the small arrow on the right side of the logo you will open the main menu. This is where you can modify GODbar to your likings. Lets see…
- Refresh Toolbar You don’t really have to use this feature, but it’s there when you need it. Whenever we makeminor changes to the toolbar it updates automatically, real-time. If, for some reason, it won’t this is where you hit this option to refresh it. It flickers for a split second, and boom – you’re done.
- Upgrade No, this is not an upgrade to Pro version. Whenever we make major changes to the toolbar, mess with the guts so to speak, you will need to upgrade to the new version. This is painless as long as you’re using Firefox, because it installs as a plugin.
- Tell a friend This is a good way to help us promote GODbar. If you like it, click this and send an e-mail to your friend so they can download it and enjoy it.
- Viktorix Innovative This will take you to our company’s homepage. Just so you know who’s behind all this Godlessness.
- Donate Pretty simple, GODbar is free but we do need your help for marketing and bills.
- Help This is where you will find FAQ, if you have questions about technical side of GODbar.
- Privacy It is our highest priority, your privacy and security. This is where you can read toolbar’s privacy statement sealed with TRUSTe Trusted Download seal.
- About Displays brief information about GODbar.

- Clear Search History Clears history of the search bar.
- Shrink Toolbar This will remove text from all the buttons to shrink it, even player will be compacted.
- Toolbar Options This feature opens up customization window, you can add stuff, remove stuff, and play around
with other stuff.
GODbar Search top
The search bar provides you with several different options to utilize to crawl the web. GODbar Search is powered by Google, so you know you will get the best results every time. We did offer you an extra option, GODsearch. This feature will search through atheist websites. We manually submit these websites to our GODsearch database to ensure accuracy. Lastly, we gave you some common search sites for any needs that might arise. By the way, you can re-size search bar by dragging on the arrows located on the right side of the search.
A|N Menu top
A|N Menu offers an easy way of navigating through Atheist Nexus social networking site. It gives you an ability to visit any page on A|N with a simple click of a button without the need of visiting the homepage first.
GODnetwork top
This is one of the main features of the GODbar. This is your portal to the atheist community online. We add new sites regularly, but you have to understand that we do not add personal blogs/sites that do not attract large audience. Although, we are working on that feature. GODnetwork provides you with most common hang out spots for atheists, our national and international organizations, and some popular sites for you to check out.
Atheist Spot News top
If you don’t know what AtheistSpot is, then you better go check them out and sign up for free. Using GODbar doesn’t require registration on AtheistSpot, it is a good service to be part of and use. Basically, what it is DIGG for atheists. GODbar provides top submissions for you to enjoy reading. Hopefully, this will help strengthen our online community by connecting atheists and their writings.
GODbar Weather top
This one is easy. It provides up-to-date weather information for any location that you select. It is easy to customize and has very sleek, attractive appearance. Great tool to keep you informed. The icon changes with weather conditions, another great easy way to we try to make your life as easy as possible.
GODmail top
OK, no you will not receive e-mails from God here. This is not Bruce Almighty type of mail. But this will bring all your e-mails into one place. Very easy to setup, and very easy to use. It automatically signs you in, if you select this option, to your Inbox. No more log in issues. As we said, we want to make your life eeeeeeeeasy!
GODalert top
This feature is our way to stay in touch with you. As we said, you can turn it off in the Toolbar Options dialog window. We want to promise you that we will not spam this feature; we will not send useless advertisements; we will never ask you for any private information. We will keep you informed about latest happenings at GODbar, any urgent atheism-related news. Everything we send to you here will be related to atheism. It is not automatic, we manually enter messages and send them out. If you think you got something urgent, especially any atheist organizations, feel free to submit it. We will review it, and if appropriate submit it.
GODcast top
This is one of the best features we have. You will love it. There are too many good atheist podcasts out there. You can’t listen to them all. Or can you? We brought atheist podcast world to you in a small, very simple GODcast player. All you have to do is find your favorite podcast, and then pick an episode to listen to. That’s it! Also, just for you music lovers out there. We have some stations for you to enjoy, too.
We are constantly working on new features and improving existing ones. We really, really need your feedback. Bad or good, we want it.
